Winter Recess will begin Dec. 22, 2025 and end Jan. 2, 2026.  The Civ will be open for most days, at our usual times.  The Civ will be closed Christmas Eve (Wed. the 24th) and Christmas Day (Thurs. the 25th).  We will also be closed New Year's Eve (Wed. the 31st and New Year's Day (Thurs. Jan 1).

A reminder that youth must be at least 10 years old to visit The Civ Monday through Thursday evenings, for our 6:00 to 9:00 PM program.

As the holidays near, there are a number of fundraising outfits readying for 2026.  If you or your family is able to donate, please consider The Watervliet Civic Center.  "The Civ" is involved with three primary programs:

  • State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA): Designate Watervliet Civic Center SEFA # 50-00410.

  • Combined Federal Campaign (CFC): Designate Watervliet Civic Center CFC # 41327.

  • Community Campaign: Designate Watervliet Civic Center #2900.

Donations can also be made directly to "The Civ," through this website, to benefit a specific program, general operation or in memory of a loved one.
