Our "Food is Fuel" program began in partnership with the Watervliet City School District and the Regional Food Bank.  It began by providing 55+ children with easy-to-fix meals and snacks during the weekend.  

Peanut butter & jelly, bread, tuna fish, granola bars and Mac & Cheese are but some of the items that were initially offered.  In time the program has grown to include hygiene products as well.

This program is supported by donations from the community, the United Way of Northeastern NY and donations to the Watervliet Civic Center's website.
