Ways to Help

The Watervliet Civic Center is a registered 501 (C) (3) non-profit, tax exempt organization registered with the NYS Department of Charities, NYS Tax and Finance and United States Treasury Department. All donations are tax deductible.​

The “Civ” and its programs continue to exist after 50 years of its founding via program fees, continuous fundraising and donations. These monies allow The Civic Center to provide desperately needed programs and services to the citizens of Watervliet.​

Our annual fundraisers consists of our “Adopt a Camper” program, Dances for Adult Couples, raffles held throughout the year, our Friends of the Watervliet Civic Center drive and special events such as our Comedy Nights, Wing War and George Roe Golf Tournament.

Payroll Deductions:

The Watervliet Civic Center is a member of the United Way of The Greater Capital Region. You can direct your contribution to support programs and services at the Watervliet Civic Center. All proceeds go directly to the Watervliet Civic Center. Take advantage of the Specific Agency Program.

Current Campaign Numbers​

Taxable deduction donations made to the Watervliet Civic Center help our non-profit agency immensely.  Whether a one time, in memorial, annual or regular donation, your donation does more than just "pay the bills."  Community involvement and investment help to demonstrate our agency's foot print and capacity within the community.  It demonstrates to grant-makers and even the United Way that the Watervliet Civic Center has the capacity and support to facilitate grant funding.  When donating, please be sure to tell us about your donation, by emailing:  wsheehy402@aol.com.
